ZEITGEIST the movie

Throughout my life I had come to realize that I'm a skeptic and don't usually take things at face value. I like to look all the sides myself in order to determine what opinion or stance I have on something. I form my opinions based on facts, logic and reason. Not by solely based on what other people tell me, what I observe in the media, what a leader of a religious organization or political group tells me, or what I was brought up on. This movie sums up some of the things that I have been thinking about lately. I'm not saying it's true or false, just another view point that I look at to determine what opinion I have observing the world around me. Truth is not told, it's realized! Watch this with an open mind. It's easy to dismiss, but sometimes the truth hurts.
This is a link to a full 2 hour movie non-profit movie about the connection of world religions, 9/11, and the Federal Reserve as it mainly pertains to the USA. It called the ZEITGEIST. It's completely legal to view online but will require a high speed internet connection.

For those of you that are followers of Jesus, you would be happy to know that I'm in the middle of reading Case for a Creator by Lee Strobel. I recommend reading that too.

I love to hear you comments on why you think this is movie is true or false. I'm always searching and completely open minded.

Zeitgeist captivated my attention from beginning to end. I like to think of myself as skeptical but open-minded, and I found much of the information presented quite believable; especially since I have independently come across almost identical facts.
Do your own research. Dig deep. It's extremely important not to immediately dismiss or believe an idea because the prevailing culture does.

You might find this link helpful Jay, regarding the truth of Zeitgiest, at least the first part having to do with Christianity. There are a lot of problems with the video. God bless you.

i have always been interested in astrology, ever since i was 7. i was never religous and always interested in current events. i watched this and it was like everything i have ever known had been turned upside down, and in a new light.
in high school i was on the debate team as a competitor as well as a researcher. when i saw this, i did my own research and everything that i find that isnt written by the government supports this.
i had my mother watched this and she told me i was crazy, as she went downstairs to watch her teen soap, the hills or one tree hill or some other mindless teen drama garbage. the government has us so wrapped up in trends and useless knowledge, that no one even cares to look at what our world is coming to.

the scariest part is that my 14 year old sister is going on a trip to london this year and just recieved a passport. the top right corner of the cover IS slightly raised. i am aware that they have already started putting chips in passports.

i hope that this isnt true. i really hope. i hope that i am crazy for believing this. i look up and pray that god or jesus or anyone is pointing and laughing at me for truley being tormented by this.
because if this is true,
then life as we know it,
private life,
our freedom...
will not be protected because there are a rare few who actually leave their shell, their socially bound bubble to seek truth... who expects anyone to protect it?

I too, am a skeptic and don't know if everything stated is factual (I assume not) until I further research myself and draw my own conclusions. I always look within for the answers and am pleasantly surprised to discover the intutive abilities that distinguish between truth and lies. My fear is that I am alternately being led by another group using misinformation and deception.

Overall, I will say that regardless of whether or not you or I or anyone else actually believes this is true or not is irrelevant as history will inevitably unfold before our eyes.

The important thing is to open our eyes and minds. I definitely assure you that the future as predicted here is completely and absolutely a POSSIBILITY.

Question is...what are we going to do about it? What CAN we do about it? What are you going to do about it?

I think a LOT is factual in the movie. I would like to hope that s lot of it ISNT factual, but it's good to be aware of the possibility of it.

I think people should watch it, and be skeptical, but be just as skeptical of what we believe too.

I would like to say that links to christian sites who of course want to denounce the integrity of this film are not helpful in the practice of free thinking. The film does show us evidence which we can study for ourselves and i have to say if you do this open mindedley you shall find yourself believing much if not more of the film than you wou would do had you not. Education is where the truth lies, not religious myths which are
laughable to the educated.

Zeitgeist has many flaws. First crucifixion was not invented until about a few hundred years before Christ was even born. Second Christ was not born on December 25th, no one is for sure when he was born it may have been any day of the year, so that similarity is taken by an amateur. Thus now proving their is no foundation to the reliability of this movie.
